We are no longer providing free Bibles. But here are
some great places you can access God's Word for free or at a low
cost:
First, find a version of the Bible that you can understand
easily. The most readily version of the Bible that are available
use words or phrasing that is not common in everyday American English.
The New Living Translation is one version that is easy to
read and closely follows the words and ideas in the original Hebrew
and Greek text. The New Century Version is also a great version
for those who are new to Christianity, as it avoids use of "Christiany"
words that have little meaning for those who are unfamiliar with
them.
Second, if the Bible is unfamiliar to you, read our
free quick Bible Guide. That will
familiarize you with how the Bible is arranged and gives a few quick
tips on getting the most out of reading your Bible.
